Miklas assists with COFE® software deployments

In this role, Miklas assists with support for Continuous Order Fulfillment Engine (COFE®), the VARGO® warehouse execution system software that enables waveless picking.

VARGO® welcomes project manager on systems integration team

HILLIARD, Ohio (Nov. 20, 2018) — VARGO®, a leading provider of material-handling systems integration, warehouse execution software and equipment solutions for major fulfillment and distribution centers, has hired Charles Yazoume Lamien as a project manager on the systems integration team.

In this role, Lamien will serve as a key team member, providing project management to support existing projects and new business development efforts. He will plan and organize resources to complete projects on time and within budget. Lamien will also monitor and control activities in order to meet project deliverables.

Prior to that, Lamien worked as a controls engineer at Dematic, a supplier of automated supply chain technology, software and services based in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Lamien grew up in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, in western Africa. He graduated from a technical high school in Ouagadougou in 1998 before receiving a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the National School of Engineering in Lomé, Togo, Africa in 2003. In 2013, Lamien earned a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

VARGO® welcomes new software support technician to quality assurance and implementations team

HILLIARD, Ohio (Nov. 20, 2018) — VARGO®, a leading provider of material-handling systems integration, warehouse execution software and equipment solutions for major fulfillment and distribution centers, has welcomed Nathanael Bell-Pactat as a software support technician to the quality assurance and implementations team.

In this role, Bell-Pactat will support, review and maintain proprietary VARGO® software. Bell-Pactat will also provide on-call customer support to assist VARGO® customers with operational and system-related issues.

A native of Oxford, Ohio, Bell-Pactat graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in physics. He graduated from Talawanda High School in Oxford in 2012.

VARGO® team member promoted to lead quality assurance engineer

HILLIARD, Ohio (November 20, 2018) — VARGO®, a leading provider of material-handling systems integration, warehouse execution software and equipment solutions for major fulfillment and distribution centers, has promoted Abid al-Ikashi to lead quality assurance engineer.

Al-Ikashi will plan, coordinate and perform quality assurance processes for new features, enhancements, bug fixes and installations for all VARGO® solutions. He will develop testing tools and processes, lead customer support and installations, and also provide onsite support to VARGO® customers.

Al-Ikashi joined VARGO® in 2017 as a software engineer and worked as an onsite support technician, focusing on quality assurance and product testing. Prior to that, he worked as an application developer at a Grove City company and as an IT manager and programmer at a company in Baghdad, Iraq.

Al-Ikashi grew up in Baghdad, Iraq, where he graduated from Al Mansour University College with a Bachelor of Science in software engineering. Al-Ikashi also holds the Cisco Certified Network Association (CCNA) levels on and two Industrial certifications from Cisco. He is a member of Central Ohio GameDev Group for aspiring video game developers, and he is a lead game developer for Wild Beard Games, LLC, an independent game development company.

VARGO® promotes team member to senior project coordinator

In her new role, Rosemeier, who has worked at VARGO® since May 2008 as a project coordinator, will oversee systems project financials and provide support to the engineering and project management teams.

VARGO® engineer promoted to software manager

In his previous role at VARGO®, Raymond served as a senior software engineer, where he assisted with software design, development and support and had a significant impact on the company’s COFE® (Continuous Order Fulfillment Engine) warehouse execution system software, a leading waveless fulfillment solution that synchronizes and sequences all resources — people and equipment — and responds to dynamically changing requirements within a fulfillment center. As software manager, Raymond will oversee the design and development of VARGO® software and manage a team of software engineers.
