As we all know, the global spread of COVID-19 has evolved from cases in far corners of the United States to a more widespread disruption and threat. VARGO® places a top priority on the health and safety of our employees, customers and vendors. With that in mind, we are taking necessary steps to ensure that we are doing our part to prevent the spread of the virus while still continuing to take care of the needs of our customers.
VARGO® is making every effort to make sure that this situation does not affect the quality of the services that we provide to your businesses.
We have enacted a work-from-home policy for our associates who are able to do so. While more of our team is working remotely, we are continuing to support our customers’ needs through our customer support number and doing everything we can to accommodate your needs.
We care deeply about the health and safety of our associates, our customers, vendors and community.
Out of concern for the health and safety of all of our associates and their families, as well as our customers and vendors, we are implementing precautionary measures.
In addition to working from home if they are able, our associates are being asked to restrict any non-essential business air travel. Please note that travel for project work, for at least the time being, is not impacted and is considered essential to our business.
We are restricting access to our VARGO® offices from outside guests. Non-VARGO® associates will no longer be allowed to enter any of our offices for the immediate future, including any currently scheduled vendor meetings.
We are requiring associates to stay home from work if they feel sick, or if they are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
We have communicated with our employees the importance of following CDC recommendations, including protecting themselves (handwashing, using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, avoiding touching your face with hands, and maintaining CDC’s recommended social distancing estimate of six feet).
Given the dynamic, accelerated and unprecedented nature of this National Emergency, we will keep you apprised of any further changes to our business practices that the situation requires.
