VARGO® engineer promoted to software manager

HILLIARD, Ohio (Sept. 18, 2018) — VARGO®, a leading provider of material-handling systems integration, warehouse execution software and equipment solutions for major fulfillment and distribution centers, has promoted Joel Raymond to software manager.

In his previous role at VARGO®, Raymond served as a senior software engineer, where he assisted with software design, development and support and had a significant impact on the company’s COFE® (Continuous Order Fulfillment Engine) warehouse execution system software, a leading waveless fulfillment solution that synchronizes and sequences all resources — people and equipment — and responds to dynamically changing requirements within a fulfillment center. As software manager, Raymond will oversee the design and development of VARGO® software and manage a team of software engineers.

VARGO® welcomes new application support engineer to team

HILLIARD, Ohio (Sept. 6, 2018) — VARGO®, a leading provider of material-handling systems integration, warehouse execution software and equipment solutions for major fulfillment and distribution centers, has welcomed Timothy Hodson to the team as an application support engineer.

In this role, Hodson will provide on-call support to VARGO® customers and will create, maintain and execute test plans to further maximize customer satisfaction with VARGO® products. His responsibilities also include reviewing existing code and making modifications as necessary.

Hodson grew up in South Haven, Mich., before moving to Gahanna. He graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and minors in business and computer science.

VARGO® welcomes project manager to system integrations team

In this role, Becker will serve as a key member of the VARGO® systems integration team, providing critical project management support to fully integrated systems projects.

Before joining VARGO®, Becker served for five years as an accounting assistant at Schonhardt and Associates, a Columbus-based management, accounting and consulting firm. Previously, Becker worked for six years at Smiths Medical, where she was a research and development engineer. She also has worked at Inland Fisher Guide, a division of General Motors, as a quality and reliability engineer.

Becker grew up in Pittsburgh, Penn. She graduated from the University of Dayton in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology. She is a past member of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, a professional society dedicated to the support of industrial and systems engineering professions, and the Society of Women Engineers, a nonprofit organization centered around providing women engineers a place and voice within the industry.

Sauty de Chalon will support solution functional and interface requirements gathering, project management functions and onsite COFE® implementations between VARGO® and its customers. COFE® (Continuous Order Fulfillment Engine) is VARGO®’s warehouse execution software that drives waveless order fulfillment for VARGO® clients’ distribution centers across the country.

COFE® 3 and COFE®View will see increases in efficiency and responsiveness

DUBLIN, Ohio (July 12, 2018) — VARGO®, a leading provider of material-handling systems integration, warehouse execution software and equipment solutions for major fulfillment and distribution centers, has announced updates to its COFE® warehouse execution system software and COFE®View, VARGO®’s business intelligence and reporting and management platform.

The updates will maximize its customers’ user experience and guarantee continued efficiency and accuracy in data reporting.

“With these updates, we want to continue to make our customers’ user experience a top priority and ensure that COFE® and COFE®View, the application tool that allows customers to access information from COFE®, are driving the highest level of accuracy and efficiency in their facilities,” said Michael McSweeny, director of software development at VARGO®.

“Our customers are going to be able to access data from multiple platforms — at their desks, on their mobile devices, even at home.
